The story of CABOU coffee just recently started in 2016 following a partnership with cooperatives of coffee farmers in Burundi, in the heart of Africa. The company works in close collaboration with BUJA CAFE 15 Plus, to manage the washing station of fully-washed coffee called Munkaze, located in northern Burundi, in Kayanza province at the altitude of 1,800 meters. BUJA CAFE 15 Plus transforms cherry coffee into washed and fermented parchment coffee, which gives coffee a high quality.
CABOU had the privilege of participating in 2017 at the yearly Cup of Excellence competition, which awards the best specialty coffees on the Burundian market. Please click on the link below for more information about our ranking.
